What is LUMIMUSIC ?
LUMIMUSIC is a new way to experience piano concerts—bringing music, color, and emotion together in one immersive experience.
At a LUMIMUSIC concert, colored lighting changes with the emotions, harmony, and atmosphere of the music. Instead of staying under the same stage light from beginning to end, the visual world transforms with the music—sometimes changing more than 30 times in a piece lasting less than three minutes. Audiences not only hear the changes in the music, but also see and feel them as they happen.
Created to make piano music more accessible, engaging, and exciting, LUMIMUSIC gives audiences a visual way to experience the nuances of classical music—no musical knowledge is needed. Short introductions and stories invite listeners into the world of each piece, while a welcoming concert atmosphere allows everyone to simply enjoy the music.
Beyond seeing and hearing the music, LUMIMUSIC invites each audience member to step into their own inner world. A color, a melody, or a changing atmosphere may bring back a memory, a place, a person, or a moment from their own life. The visual experience guides audiences into the music, but what they feel and imagine remains entirely their own.
LUMIMUSIC hopes that, for a moment, every audience member can step into their own dreams, memories, and emotions—and discover something personal within the music.
LUMIMUSIC brings together beloved classical works, film music, modern piano music, and original compositions by founder and concert pianist Tingting Wu. The experience can travel beyond the traditional concert hall to theaters, galleries, intimate venues, and other spaces, using colored lighting or visual projections to bring the music to life.

Founder
Tingting Wu is the founder and artistic creator of LUMIMUSIC, an internationally recognized concert pianist and composer.
From 2024 to 2026, her performances were featured nationwide on more than 220 PBS stations in Pictures at an Exhibition with Emmy and Grammy Award-winning conductor Gerard Schwarz. She also led LUMIMUSIC to New York City, appearing as the only invited solo pianist at the New York AI Film Festival Awards Ceremony at Symphony Space, a historic performing arts venue on Broadway.
In 2023, Tingting earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the University of Miami on a full scholarship and the program’s highest graduate stipend.
Tingting created LUMIMUSIC with a vision: to let audiences not only hear music, but see and feel its emotions. Through live piano, color, light, and storytelling, she creates an immersive world where music can be heard, seen, and felt at the same time.
